The Los Angeles team that has no NBA titles finished the first quarter on a 9-0 run, thanks in part to a big contribution off the bench from Isaiah Hartenstein, who contributed six points, an assist and a block.
Sad debut of DJ Augustin
In the second quarter, DJ Augustin made his debut with the Lakers, however, his start was not the best, as the Clippers began the period with a 6-2 run and took a nine-point lead with ten minutes to play in the first half.
Then it was Jackson who took control and by the middle of the second quarter he already had 15 points and the Clippers were up by as much as 14 with 8:39 to go before halftime, when the Lakers had to call an emergency timeout.

But led by James, who finished the first half with 18 points, the Lakers went into the break on a 14-0 run to trail by only three points (66-63).
But it all came crashing down for the yellow jerseys in the third period, with 7:42 minutes left in the half, the Clippers scored 19 of the first 21 points of the second half to go ahead by 20 points (85-65).

In total there were 23 unanswered points for the Clippers, who took the definitive advantage of the game and won the third quarter by a score of 40-18.
The last quarter was a mere formality, in which Jackson took the opportunity to mock Russell Westbrook in the face and end his best game so far this season.
In the losing cause, the “King” registered good numbers, 26 points, eight rebounds and four assists.
With this result, the Clippers (34-31) accumulated five wins in a row and moved into eighth place in the Western Conference, while the Lakers (27-35) have four consecutive losses and are ninth in the same classification.
