190 million dollars receive five-years agreement with Lakers Anthony Davis

The Los Angeles Lakers are closing in on the renewal of Anthony Davis, just one day after LeBron James penned a new two-year deal with the franchise.

Davis took the decision to opt out of the final year of his contract but did not seriously test free agency, and now it seems that he will return to the Lakers, who he was traded to in the summer of 2019.The 27-year-old will put pen to paper on a five-year contract worth 190 million dollars, which is the maximum possible figure he could receive. The agreement will include a clause whereby Davis can terminate his contract one year early, so at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.Davis, who helped lead the Lakers to the NBA title last season, contemplated several scenarios but has ultimately decided to re-sign with the Lakers on a five-year deal.



According to ESPN’s Bobby Marks, Davis will earn 32,742,000 dollars in his first year, 35,361,360 dollars in the second, 37,980,720 dollars in the third, 40,600,080 dollars in the fourth and 43,219,440 dollars in the fifth and final year.
